Always loved Glen Campbell❤

I was enamored by the "Glen Campbell Goodtime Hour" when I was about 4 years old. I loved him then and through the years, I'd forgotten about him until I watched the movie "War On Everyone" where Glen Campbell's music was referred to as "panty dropping music" and I had to revisit him. I totally understand!!!

How much talent can one man have? An absolute next level guitarist and singer can’t really think of anyone else with such an amazing voice and guitar skills, he was shredding well before most of the modern guitar gods, was no surprise when Eddie Van Halen begged Alice Cooper to get him a guitar lesson with Glen Campbell, the man came from another world🎸🎸🎸

This symphony nailed MacArthur's Park, heard all of Glen's versions. Just rocks, this one.

Oh, that I could have a great voice and talent on guitar as Glen...I miss him and cried when he went away, then died in 2017. We did have him though and we have this music forever.

Watching this concert for the 4th time, and can't get enough of the genius Glen Campbell. It's 2024, and I'm heart broken he's gone. Not only a great showman was he but the caliber of his artistry, amazing voice, great choice of material, the whole package was so unique. Thank you so much D.J. Marc De Grauwe for posting this remarkable performance. I'm sure I'll be watching this concert many more times.

Let's think about this for a moment. 2001 .. the concert .. would be before or after 9/11? Let's imagine that it was before. Sioux Falls still could be. Time was .. in our country, possible .. Now, we are as if folded in and under numerous blankets of depression .. Oh, Lord .. It's if we don't have time, the voices harsh and brittle. It's as if, like Billy Pilgrim, we have become unstuck in time. I, like you, am longing. I, like you, don't know what to do about it ..

The guitar break on Wichita comes from Sioux Falls and .. somewhere very far beyond .. !!

I’m one of the lucky ones, my Dad introduced me to Glen in the 70’s and I’m still in awe of this wonderful man and his banjo picking daughter. My Dads still with us at 83. How lucky am I.

Just discovered Glen as a 55 year old rocker and feel jipped that FM radio played Neil Young, The Band (who SUCK !), Allman Brothers, but never Glen Campbell. My God, Everyday Housewife is GENIUS.

Absolute master of his art. Talent is a gift you are born with and thank goodness Glen found his. Never over plays or over sings, just wholly invested in the supporting talent of the band and orchestra. Genius.

Whoever told Glen to sing without his natural accent did him a disservice. He doesn’t sound like the Glen that I listened to growing up. Still love him, though.

I can only imagine being in that orchestra playing with Glen. How amazing would that be. At 73 yrs old, i have been listening to Glen forever. He always amazes me every time I listen to him. RIP
